Former educator and SaaS customer success leader joins to strengthen onboarding, delivery, and customer partnership as TrueRoll expands into new workflows
CHICAGO: TrueRoll, the AI-powered system of action built for county assessment offices, has named Stefani Ferlan as its Vice President of Customer Operations. Ferlan leads TrueRoll's post-sales organization, including onboarding, customer success, and services. She brings deep experience building and scaling customer teams in SaaS, most recently as VP of Customer Success at Centerbase, where she oversaw all post-sales operations.
"Stefani is sharp, high-energy, and mission-driven, and her path, from teaching math through Teach For America to leading customer operations in SaaS, reflects the same purpose that drives us: making the work of the assessment community easier. As we grow from serving counties on one workflow to serving hundreds of counties across many workflows, Stefani will help us build the operational maturity our customers deserve without losing the responsiveness and partnership that our customers love about TrueRoll," said TrueRoll CEO Tyler Masterson.
Ferlan began her career in public education as a high school math teacher with Teach For America, later serving as a curriculum designer, principal coach, and grant manager focused on school and district-wide improvement. She moved into SaaS as a Customer Success Manager in legal technology. At LinkSquares, she helped establish and scale the Enterprise Customer Success function and led a team that exceeded its retention and expansion targets. At Centerbase, she led Customer Success, Onboarding, Data Migration, and Professional Services, transforming the onboarding experience to significantly reduce implementation timelines while maintaining strong customer satisfaction, and building a consulting services function to meet more complex customer needs.
The appointment comes as TrueRoll has expanded beyond its origins in homestead administration into a multi-workflow platform covering exemptions, deeds, protests, business personal property, and citizen intake. Ferlan's priorities include building scalable onboarding and delivery processes that help customers realize value quickly, and strengthening feedback loops between Customer Operations, Product, Engineering, and Sales so customer insights continue to shape the platform.
"County assessment teams manage incredibly important work, often involving complex, manual processes, and there's tremendous opportunity to use technology and AI to reduce that burden. TrueRoll brings deep subject matter expertise from working with more than 150 counties, and our customers bring invaluable knowledge of their own operations and communities. The greatest value comes from bringing those two perspectives together," said Ferlan. "I want our customers to know that we're invested in their long-term success. As TrueRoll grows, we'll keep listening, learning, and finding new ways to help them accomplish more."
With Ferlan in place, TrueRoll will continue to invest in the people and processes that help assessment offices get to value faster.
