SUNNYVALE, Calif.: Nexsan®, the pioneer of highly reliable, cost-effective enterprise-class storage solutions, was named Storage Innovator of the Year at the Storage Awards 2026, a premier IT sector event that recognizes the industry’s finest products, companies and people. Nexsan was also named to the Awards’ Hall of Fame, becoming only the 10th company to be honored as such in the program’s 23-year history.
The “Storries” were decided via online voting by Storage Magazine readers with winners celebrated at a black-tie gala dinner on June 18 in London. A complete list of this year’s winners is available online at the award’s website and will be showcased in the July/August issue of Storage Magazine.
Nexsan has a strong history of success at the annual Storage Awards, having won recognition for top product or solution nearly 20 times throughout the award’s history. Joining previous winners such as NetApp, Seagate, HPe and IBM, Nexsan’s entry into the Awards’ Hall of Fame is recognition that the company has consistently driven innovation and maintained a strong presence in the data storage market throughout the years.
Nexsan understands the challenges IT faces in finding a storage solution that balances cost, reliability and scalability. Since 1999, Nexsan has delivered reliable, secure and scalable on-premises data storage solutions designed to meet evolving business and IT requirements. The company’s storage solutions are expertly designed to support a multitude of applications from healthcare to digital surveillance, ensuring secure, efficient data management and recovery in various demanding environments. These solutions are then delivered to customers through a worldwide partner program comprised of solution providers, technology partners and OEMs, all working together to ensure business-critical data remains a protected and available resource.
“Innovation has remained a cornerstone of the company since our debut more than 25 years ago, so it is especially rewarding to have been recognized as Innovator of the Year at this year’s Storage Awards and be inducted into their Hall of Fame for our success in delivering that innovation – and more – throughout the years,” said Vincent Phillips, CEO of Nexsan. “Thank you to Storage Magazine, their editors and readers for naming us as Innovator of the Year and making us the 10th company honored as part of the Storries’ Hall of Fame. We look forward to continuing to deliver the products and solutions that have earned us such recognition for years to come.”
