BELLEVUE, Wash.: Timesort, Inc. today announces the release of its temporal information systems for exploring and sharing schedules. The system is accessible via timesort.com, downloadable desktop clients, and programming interfaces, with downloadable mobile clients forthcoming.
The temporal information on Timesort encompasses everything under the purview of schedules, including deadlines, release times, broadcast times, availability windows, and opening–closing periods. Its information is available in and standardized across hundreds of natural languages, including a standardized expression of proximate dates in relation to the present date. Every instance of temporal information on Timesort has an accompanying derivation tree that demonstrates the basis for its expressive structuring. Through these and other foundational capabilities, Timesort serves as an authoritative reference for a rich body of correct temporal information.
Elegant transition motions occur when opening and closing schedule panels, including on the internet client timesort.com and downloadable desktop clients. Opening a schedule pushes that schedule to a stack of panels and prioritizes the display of related schedules; a tree structure shows the organization of pushed schedules. Earlier schedules visited determine the ranking of these and other schedules upon subsequent visits to Timesort.
Schedules on Timesort are primarily displayed over timetables that are concurrently rendered. The timetables are compressed by evicting dates without temporal information, displaying only populated dates over a given time period; in addition, these timetables revolve around the present date to show proximate dates with information on them. Schedules also appear in bidirectionally-traversed timelines anchored around the present date. Temporal information in these settings can be saved directly on Timesort, individually or over a defined date range.
Timesort provides a uniform means for exploring and sharing schedules. To explore or augment its temporal information, visit Timesort here, and download Timesort from its Control Center. To embed a timetable in your environment or link to a Timesort schedule, use the code available from the preceding links.
For additional resources, download the full release and see the Timesort product gallery.
