SAN FRANCISCO: Deepwatch, the leading AI+Human cyber resilience platform, today announced the appointment of Robert Willis as Executive Vice President of Global Cyber Operations to lead the company’s cybersecurity strategies and operations on a global scale.

Willis joins Deepwatch from Binary Defense, where he transformed the Security Operations organization into an intelligence-driven, high-touch and consultative Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution. Robert is also a renowned speaker in the cybersecurity industry having been invited to speak at RSA, Hou.Sec.Con, and other major cyber events.

“Robert is a dynamic cybersecurity executive with over two decades of experience strengthening enterprise defenses, optimizing security operations, and fostering innovation within teams. His strategic approach empowers organizations to stay ahead of evolving threats while delivering excellence in security services, making him the perfect fit for this critical role,” said John DiLullo, CEO of Deepwatch. “His leadership will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to deliver unparalleled cybersecurity solutions and serve as a trusted defense partner for enterprises navigating an increasingly complex threat landscape.”

Willis will lead Deepwatch’s global strategy to enhance enterprise security, fortify defenses against cyber threats, and optimize security operations. Overseeing SOC operations, incident detection and response, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and vulnerability management, he will focus on strengthening security effectiveness for customers while enhancing overall client satisfaction.

“Deepwatch is transforming the MDR space by delivering AI-powered threat exposure management for businesses of all sizes to protect and defend them against the onslaught of cyber threats,” said Robert Willis, EVP of Global Cyber Operations at Deepwatch. “I am excited to contribute to this vision and help our clients achieve a robust and resilient security posture.”
