Unified platform connects buyers, sellers, and systems across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, bringing clarity and control to the cloud economy
SAN FRANCISCO: Flywl, the cloud marketplace platform transforming how enterprises buy and sell software, unveiled the next generation of Flywl, a fully integrated platform that brings together four live products: Compass, Beacon, FUID, and Flywl University. Together, they form a single solution designed to modernize how software is bought and sold across cloud marketplaces.
Enterprise software sales through hyperscaler cloud marketplaces, led by AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud, are projected to surge from $30 billion in 2024 to $163 billion by 2030, signaling the accelerating shift toward marketplace-driven procurement. Flywl addresses this growing need in the enterprise technology space, as organizations face increasing complexity around cloud spend and software procurement. Many procurement and finance teams still struggle with delayed reconciliation, fragmented systems, and limited visibility into actual spend. Enterprise customers such as Wiz, Norstella, and others rely on Flywl to solve these problems through intelligent automation, data standardization, and deep integrations across procurement and cloud ecosystems.
“Flywl is a shift in how cloud marketplaces are meant to operate,” said Ankur Srivastava, CEO and Founder of Flywl. “We’ve connected buyers and sellers, streamlined systems, and grounded everything in a buyer-first standard that’s already delivering results.”
At the center of the Flywl platform is Compass, the company’s buyer-focused control center. Compass is designed to simplify the entire cloud procurement lifecycle, connecting hyperscaler marketplaces with enterprise procurement tools and financial systems. Compass delivers a five-step journey to clarity:
Beacon brings clarity to the seller side of the cloud marketplace. Beacon is a centralized control tower for independent software vendors (ISVs) and enterprise software sellers, giving them full visibility into how their products are listed, priced, and performing across hyperscalers. Sellers can use Beacon to standardize product listings, manage pricing, launch buyer-specific incentives, and track engagement across cloud marketplaces, all from a single interface. This allows vendors to eliminate redundant efforts and avoid inconsistencies in how their offerings appear across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
The Flywl Unique ID (FUID) is a proprietary 19-character identifier that creates a consistent identity for software products across marketplaces. FUID was developed to address mismatched listings, duplicate SKUs, and unreliable procurement or enterprise system data. With FUID, buyers can find and purchase the right products, and sellers can reconcile data more effectively across platforms. FUID is already live and in use by enterprise customers and sellers participating in the Flywl ecosystem.
To support adoption and ensure long-term success for both buyers and sellers, Flywl also announced the availability of Flywl University, a structured learning platform designed to close the enablement gap around cloud marketplaces. Flywl University offers role-based certifications, live enablement sessions, and self-paced coursework covering the fundamentals of Compass, FUID, and cloud marketplace strategy. The program is available for procurement teams, finance leaders, go-to-market professionals, and systems administrators looking to build an operational foundation around marketplace adoption.
“Flywl addresses marketplace friction at the infrastructure level. By aligning cloud procurement with enterprise systems across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, it unlocks speed, transparency, and strategic value. The buyer-first approach is what makes this a category-defining platform,” said Arun Penmetsa, Partner at Storm Ventures and early investor in Flywl.
Flywl is available today. Qualified enterprise buyers and software sellers can access the platform at no cost. To get started, visit https://www.flywl.com/
