Hilgers continues eDiscovery rise with Legal 500 Global Ranking
LINCOLN, Neb.: Hilgers PLLC’s eDiscovery practice has been ranked among the world’s best by the legal ratings guide Legal 500, with partner Rose Hunter Jones selected as one of 16 outstanding global attorneys in the field.
The Legal 500 guide, which selected Hilgers one of the 25 worldwide eDiscovery pacesetters, comes on the heels of the firm’s recognition by Chambers USA for eDiscovery and information governance services. Ms. Jones also was included in Band 1, the top individual category, by Chambers.
Legal 500 says Hilgers has “established itself as a prominent player in the eDiscovery space, managing complex portfolios, crisis takeovers, and bet-the-company matters. Regularly engaged on high-stakes, data-intensive disputes and investigations, the team is valued for their ability to navigate challenging discovery environments, implement defensible protocols, and integrate advanced analytics.”
“Our goal was to become a prominent player in eDiscovery, and we are pleased that Legal 500 has joined Chambers in affirming that we have achieved that goal,” said Hilgers PLLC CEO Heather Hilgers. “Rose and the rest of our eDiscovery team continue to expand the art of the possible for our clients in this emerging field.”
In addition to Ms. Jones, the firm’s profile also lauded Denver partner Harry Dorcy for “end-to-end discovery strategy” and Chicago partner Matthew Poplawski for his work leading eDiscovery teams on complex investigations and MDLs.
Ms. Jones earned praise for handling “crisis-driven matters at the intersection of legal and technical issues” and helping global business leaders manage legal and technical issues, including data breach responses and government investigations.
“I am grateful to Legal 500 for the individual recognition and pleased to see that the Hilgers team has progressed so quickly toward national prominence,” Ms. Jones said. “Much of that success is a credit to Heather, whose leadership and support have enabled us to build a world-class eDiscovery practice.”
