Survey findings show Canadians are overlooking opportunities to maximize loyalty rewards through mobile purchases
TORONTO: New survey findings commissioned by The Mobile Shop™ reveal that many Canadians may still be leaving rewards on the table, despite the growing role rewards programs play in everyday spending decisions. The Mobile Shop™, which offers customers the opportunity to earn PC Optimum™ points on select phone purchases, commissioned the survey to better understand how Canadians are engaging with rewards programs and where gaps in rewards optimization still exist.

In fact, 85 per cent of Canadians say they at least try to make the most of available rewards and loyalty benefits. However, despite high rewards program participation and strong intentions to maximize benefits, survey insights found:
While rewards programs continue to influence spending on everyday essentials like groceries (57 per cent) and gas (55 per cent), survey findings suggest mobile shopping remains a largely untapped rewards opportunity for Canadians:
