CHICAGO: Tempus AI, Inc. (NASDAQ: TEM), a technology company leading the adoption of AI to advance precision medicine and patient care, today announced the national launch of its OneOme pharmacogenomics (PGx) testing solution, delivering advanced genetic insights to optimize medication safety, dosing and toxicity risk assessment. Following its acquisition of OneOme in November 2025, Tempus has fully integrated these capabilities to expand its comprehensive precision medicine portfolio, bridging a critical gap between genomic tumor profiling and how a patient's body actually processes treatment.

"Answering the urgent demand for immediate, reliable medication safety insights is a clinical imperative, particularly in oncology care," said Tom Schoenherr, CEO of Diagnostics at Tempus. “By bringing OneOme’s robust pharmacogenomics platform into the Tempus ecosystem and offering both rapid single-gene and broad multi-gene panels, we are providing clinicians with a more holistic view of the patient and actively closing this safety gap.”

The national launch introduces OneOme’s flagship RightMed® Comprehensive test, a 27-gene germline PGx laboratory developed test designed to analyze a patient’s inherited genetic traits, alongside standalone single-gene DPYD and UGT1A1 testing. These options evaluate how a patient’s unique genetic profile may influence their response, toxicity risk or optimal dosage across a broad spectrum of therapies. Recent FDA labeling updates recommend DPYD testing prior to administering common fluoropyrimidine therapies1- treatments where nearly 30% of patients experience severe, and sometimes fatal, toxicities2.

Whether providers order the comprehensive 27-gene panel or the targeted single-gene assays, the testing provides a rapid turnaround time, delivering results in under 5 days on average from sample receipt. This testing solution is seamlessly integrated into the broader Tempus ecosystem, allowing clinicians to evaluate drug-gene interactions alongside both tissue and liquid biopsy sequencing directly at the point of care.
