Industry veterans from leading pharma and AI organizations will help build the predictive infrastructure that will power the future of clinical development
TEL AVIV, Israel: QuantHealth, the leader in AI-powered clinical trial simulation, today announced the appointment of four executives from the world’s top pharmaceutical and AI organizations to its executive team. The additions strengthen QuantHealth's leadership capabilities as predictive simulation emerges as a critical capability for pharmaceutical companies seeking to improve trial design, reduce development risks, and accelerate the delivery of new therapies to patients.
Joining the company are Francisco Beca, MD, PhD, as Chief Medical Officer; Sukant Mittal, MS, PhD, as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy; Flavio Dormont, MBA, PhD, as Vice President of Scientific Strategy; and Agya Garg as Vice President of Product.
The appointments strengthen four of QuantHealth’s key strategic pillars for growth: clinical leadership, scientific innovation, corporate development, and product innovation. Collectively, the new executives bring experience from leading organizations including Merck, Sanofi, Seagen, Novartis, Hopper, Aura, and Loris.AI.
"For decades, the industry has made clinical trial design decisions with no ability to predict outcomes before a study begins. Simulation is quickly becoming a standard component of clinical development, enabling teams to evaluate decisions before patients are enrolled,” said Orr Inbar, CEO and co-founder of QuantHealth. "The caliber of leaders joining QuantHealth reflects growing recognition of our industry leadership, but also an increasing understanding that we will fundamentally transform how medicines are developed."
"The pace of scientific discovery has never been greater, yet clinical development remains one of the biggest bottlenecks in bringing new medicines to patients," said Francisco Beca, MD, PhD, Chief Medical Officer of QuantHealth. "Predictive simulation gives development teams an entirely new way to evaluate trial decisions before a study begins. I believe this approach has the potential to fundamentally improve development success rates and accelerate patient access to innovative therapies."
Francisco Beca, MD, PhD, Chief Medical Officer
Beca brings deep experience across oncology, clinical development, and regulatory strategy, including leadership roles at Merck and Seagen, where he contributed to the BLA submission and FDA accelerated approval of market-leading oncology therapies. He has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed publications with over 6,500 citations.
Sukant Mittal, MS, PhD, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy
Mittal brings more than 15 years of experience across life sciences’ commercial strategy, investment diligence, operations, and growth initiatives. Throughout his career, he has supported the commercialization of multiple therapies, including a blockbuster therapy helping multiple sclerosis patients and a market-leading therapy for patients with atopic dermatitis.
Flavio Dormont, MBA, PhD, Vice President of Scientific Strategy
Dormont brings more than a decade of experience applying advanced analytics and decision science to drug development. Most recently, he served as Global Director and Portfolio Head for Evidence Generation & Decision Science at Sanofi, where he helped establish the Sanofi–QuantHealth partnership.
Agya Garg, Vice President of Product
Garg brings more than 20 years of experience building and scaling technology and AI-driven products across healthcare and consumer industries. Most recently, she served as Head of Product at Loris.AI, leading the product organization through its acquisition by Contentsquare, and previously held leadership roles at Aura and Hopper.
"Francisco, Sukant, Flavio, and Agya bring deep experience with the industries we are working with. Together, they will help us build the predictive infrastructure that enables pharmaceutical companies to make better development decisions and bring therapies to patients faster,” said Inbar.
