New solution provides a structured workflow to collect supplier data, monitor participation in real time, and analyze Scope 3 and sustainability performance
NEW YORK: Novata, the leading sustainability management platform for private markets, today announced the launch of Novata for Supply Chains, a new solution that enables organizations to request, track, and manage sustainability data from their suppliers in a single, structured workflow. The solution replaces manual and inconsistent sustainability data collection processes with a standardized, auditable and AI-powered system that provides end-to-end visibility into supplier networks.
With Novata for Supply Chains, organizations can:
“Supply chain sustainability data is a critical source of operational and financial intelligence,” said Alex Friedman, Co-Founder and Co-CEO at Novata. “With this launch, we are helping companies move beyond manual collection processes to a system that turns supplier data into actionable insight, enabling better risk management and stronger decision-making across the value chain.”
Historically, fragmented requests and inconsistent methodologies leave sustainability and procurement teams managing numerous spreadsheets, chasing follow-ups, and working with incomplete data that’s hard to collect and trust. Novata for Supply Chains replaces that ad-hoc process with a streamlined experience, providing investors and companies with a clear, connected view of sustainability and emissions data across supplier networks.
The solution supports both sides of the supplier relationship. Organizations collecting data can coordinate supplier engagement, standardize responses, and strengthen reporting readiness, all in one place. Suppliers reporting data get a guided experience with simple workflows, reusable responses, and less back-and-forth with stakeholders, reducing the reporting burden for resource-constrained teams.
“Suppliers are increasingly expected to respond to multiple, often inconsistent sustainability requests with limited time and resources,” said Meredith Binder, Chief Product Officer & Chief Marketing Officer at Novata. “What we’re hearing from organizations is a clear need for simplicity and consistency. When suppliers are given structured, repeatable workflows, participation improves dramatically, and the quality of data improves with it.”
Novata for Supply Chains builds on Novata’s collaboration with Microsoft to streamline Microsoft’s supplier sustainability data collection and support more consistent, auditable reporting processes. The solution is now available across the broader market, enabling organizations to collect supplier sustainability data at scale while giving suppliers a simpler, more consistent way to respond to customer requests.
